Team GB

Proud of Our Elite Athletes

Team GB is the team representing Great Britain and Northern Ireland at the Olympic Games and is run by the British Olympic Association (BOA), whose mission is to unite and inspire the nation through the power of Olympic sport. The BOA supports athletes of all ages and from all backgrounds to go to the Olympic Games, both Summer and Winter editions, as well as funding teams to attend the senior European Games and Youth Olympic Games and Festivals. We aim to engage people throughout the United Kingdom, sharing the Olympic Values – Friendship, Excellence and Respect – and the positive impact of Team GB Olympians on the global stage.

The National Lottery

Your ticket is their ticket to paris

The National Lottery exists to change lives and maximise returns to National Lottery Projects. Around £30 million every week* is raised thanks to people like you playing our games. On average that’s £4 million a day.

That's massive. You help build local communities, power sports teams, save the environment, unleash creative talent, empower the elderly and support our Olympic and Paralympic athletes! You’re changing lives.

With hundreds of lottery grants in every postcode district, most people will have benefited from a National Lottery-funded project at some point. That's £49 billion, invested in the nation by 12 specialist organisations, that ensure it goes exactly where it's needed.

*Over £30 million raised weekly is an average based on figures from 1st January – 31st December 2023.
